Burgundy — dark wine red — holds deep significance in Hindu tradition: it is the colour of sindoor, of auspicious beginnings, of life's most important ceremonies. In the Navagraha tradition, red-burgundy is associated with Mars — energy, courage, the warrior's focused strength.

In ancient Rome, deep crimson-burgundy was the most expensive dye (from murex shellfish) and was legally restricted to emperors and senators. The colour of those who have earned the right to command.

In Tamil Nadu's weaving tradition, the combination of dark red and black appears in Kanchipuram silk borders reserved for brides and priests — the most sacred occasions.

PSYCHOLOGY

Machine wash cold (30°C) with like colors. Use mild detergent. Tumble dry low or hang dry to preserve fabric integrity. Iron on medium heat while slightly damp for best results. Take care with textured areas when ironing. Store on hangers to prevent creasing. Do not bleach.

We include a pre-paid return label in all our shipments to make it easy for you. Generate a request, specify a convenient pick-up date, and we will manage the rest.

Eligibility for Return

If you find any problems with your Tarrit article or are unsatisfied for any reason, you can return or exchange the article up to 15 days from the date of purchase.

We will only accept articles that are returned in their original packaging, unused, unwashed, undamaged, and with all tags still attached. Otherwise, we may not accept the return and send it back to the customer.

Money Back

For all accepted returns, we will refund your money within 7–10 working days, or exchange for another available size or product, as you prefer.

Refunds are applicable only for the purchased article, not for any packaging, gifts, or free items included by us.

Process

The easiest way to return or exchange is to generate a request from our website. Signed-in customers can go to "My Orders" under the "My Account" menu. Guest customers can visit the Track Your Order page and enter their Order ID and registered email address.

Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled once they are collected by our delivery partners. In such cases, cancellation is possible only after delivery is received.

For all accepted cancellations, we will refund your money within 7–10 working days, offer store credits, or exchange for another available size or product, as you prefer.

Damages

Please inform our customer care department if any article is delivered without tags. Do not accept delivery if the packaging is not properly sealed or appears damaged.
