The pinstripe was invented in the 19th century City of London — bankers wanted a discreet way to distinguish themselves from merchants, so they wove fine white lines into their dark suiting. The line meant: 'I deal with the numbers others cannot see.'

In Indian cricket tradition, the white stripe on navy is the uniform of aspirational excellence — worn by the Under-19 squad, the first-class cricketers on their way to the blue cap. Every great cricketer has worn these colours on the way up.

In Tamil Nadu's weaving tradition, the contrast of white thread on dark ground (called 'vari petti' weave) is considered technically demanding and visually auspicious — light emerging from depth.

PSYCHOLOGY
The pinstripe creates a vertical visual line that commands respect, adds perceived height and authority, and signals systematic thinking. The brain reads vertical stripes as structure, ambition, and upward movement. Literally.

Machine wash cold (30°C) with like colors. Use mild detergent. Tumble dry low or hang dry to preserve fabric integrity. Iron on medium heat while slightly damp for best results. Store on hangers to prevent creasing. Do not bleach.

We include a pre-paid return label in all our shipments to make it easy for you. Generate a request, specify a convenient pick-up date, and we will manage the rest.

Eligibility for Return

If you find any problems with your Tarrit article or are unsatisfied for any reason, you can return or exchange the article up to 15 days from the date of purchase.

We will only accept articles that are returned in their original packaging, unused, unwashed, undamaged, and with all tags still attached. Otherwise, we may not accept the return and send it back to the customer.

Money Back

For all accepted returns, we will refund your money within 7–10 working days, or exchange for another available size or product, as you prefer.

Refunds are applicable only for the purchased article, not for any packaging, gifts, or free items included by us.

Process

The easiest way to return or exchange is to generate a request from our website. Signed-in customers can go to "My Orders" under the "My Account" menu. Guest customers can visit the Track Your Order page and enter their Order ID and registered email address.

Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled once they are collected by our delivery partners. In such cases, cancellation is possible only after delivery is received.

For all accepted cancellations, we will refund your money within 7–10 working days, offer store credits, or exchange for another available size or product, as you prefer.

Damages

Please inform our customer care department if any article is delivered without tags. Do not accept delivery if the packaging is not properly sealed or appears damaged.
